Someone had the nerve to write and admonish me for my religious views and doubts of the Bible, and informed me that the Bible was not the result of an exlosion in a print shop; it was purposely written by holy men inspired of God.
So I thought I would check with Yahoo! Answers about that. Does this mean that the Bible itself is evidence of intelligent design?
Everyone please pray for me.

I don't have a problem with you believing this but I would have a problem praying for you.

Intelligent Design was the result of an explosion in a print shop. It was a damn good try to force religion back in the class room but fortunately it couldn't trump the bible.

well, it was edited and compiled by a council in 325-AD, led by a pagan emperor, for purely political purposes. THAT really makes the bible lose its credibility with me...

kinda like buying an automobile built and designed by a hairdresser.

the odds of intelligent design: "about the same as a tornado sweeping through a junk yard could assemble a Boeing 747 from the contents therein.' Mathematicians tell us that any event with an improbability greater than one chance in 10 to the power of 50 is in the realm of metaphysics -- i.e. a miracle.

Harold Marowitz, an atheist physicist, created mathematical models by imagining broths of living bacteria that were superheated until all the complex chemicals were broken down into basic building blocks. After cooling the mixtures, Marowitz used physics calculations to conclude that the odds of a single bacterium reassembling by chance is one in 10 to the power of 100,000,000,000. Wow! How can I grasp such a large statistic? Well, it's more likely that I would win the state lottery every week for a million years by purchasing just one ticket each week.

Thanks for allowing me to pray for you....

Jesus we come to the Father in your Holy name seeking forgiveness and righteousness and we thank you for it. We ask you to change hearts and minds, cast out all fear and help this man with His doubt. Give the best gift ever, the one of salvation....SAVE HIM LORD!

Amen

David

The Bible is of intelligent design. If you study it, this is easily found.

No more than the sun, the stars, or even your watch. Praying for you would hopefully effect salvation, and nothing else!
