PLEASE, don't ruin a perfect cut of meat like a ribeye. Save the marinade for cheap and/or tough cuts of meat. A grilled ribeye only needs some salt and black pepper.

INGREDIENTS - triple for 7 or 8 steaks
1 (12 ounce) bottle red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 (10 ounce) beef rib eye steaks
DIRECTIONS
In a shallow, nonreactive dish, mix red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, and pepper. Place steaks in the mixture. Cover, and marinate 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
Grill steaks on the prepared grill 5 to 7 minutes per side, to desired doneness. Discard remaining marinade.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

My favorite Black Pepper Marinade:

For 7 (large) steaks

3/4 c. water
3/4 c. olive oil
3/4 c. red wine vinegar
3 T. coarse black pepper - or if you have whole peppercorns, crush them lightly with a mallet in a plastic bag.
2 cloves garlic, minced

No need to panic, unless the steaks are really tough, you don't need to marinate them that long. I usually marinate in a ziplock bag, that way you get coverage without having to make a ton of marinade.

Balsamic vinegar, Worchestershire sauce, Liquid smoke, salt, pepper, fresh crushed garlic and honey. Mix these up to taste........put the steaks in a glass pan, cover them with the mix and let them sit overnite. When you put the steaks on the grill save the marinade to baste them with.

Try A1, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, *butter*(melted), and Montery Steak seasoning is on hand, otherwise, use whatever steak seasoning you have . Whisk in metal bowl, until it is to the consistency you like. Marinade in fridge from 3-4 hours. Then, slam on grill!
YUMMY!
Good luck, and Merry Christmas!
* could sub. margarine, or healthy heart spread.

1 cup beer, 1/4 cup dijon mustard, 2 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp chopped, fresh rosemary. When you throw the steaks on the grill, sprinkle with coarse grain sea salt and cracked black pepper. Do you have room for one more?
