Hi there is something going round i had a sore throat for a few dys but some people are getting it worse than others. The best thing is to look in your throat and see if it has white spots anywhere in your throat if you have its tonsilitis and you need to get to a doctor as soon as you can but as it xmas you may have to put up with paracetamol and hot drinks. But if its red and swollen you may just have a throat infection and paracetamols should ease the pain plenty of fluids and rest will do you good.

Please go to doctor. If you're in pain, get it checked out! Do you have a flashlight? If you do, try to open your mouth and shine the light at the back of your throat. There will be two small red sacks there. They are your tonsils. If they are sore or look coated in phlegm, that is tonsillitis. But still, get it check out. Can I ask how long have you felt like this?

What is your temp, if it is getting up over 101 and you have white spots in your throat. Go to the ER and get some antibiotics. You almost surely have strep.
In this particular instance, contain the Christmas spirit and try not to share with everyone, though the odds are you already did.
Sorry, take some Aleve, gargle with warm salt water and try to enjoy the holidays.

Tonsilitis. If you check your throat and there are white patches, better go to a doctor since you have tonsil infection. It may cause you to have high fever. It is usually treated with antibiotics if its swollen really bad.

Gargle with salt water and drink hote water with a slice of lemon. Take 2 ibuprofen or paracetamol and go to bed, if still not getting better try some strepsils or lemsip - you may find a petrol station that is open on christmas day. Or wait until normal working days resume and visit your doctor.

I'm a nurse. Sounds like you have strep. I recommend you goggle wih warm salt water, take ibprofen or tylenol (take as directed), and take an otc sore throat medication for the pain. If you are still suffering, you should go to the ER. You will then need an antibiotic. You deserve the best care you can get, you are worth it.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/oI77d
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

I have the SAME thing. We're on the same boat, buddy. I've been told to gargle with salt every 3 hours, and it will be gone in 3-5 days, I think. We both are having a sick Christmas, but hope you enjoy yours, anyway!

You have a nasty cold.
These are the first symptoms, in a day or two you'll be sneezing and coughing up phlegm.
Take Night Nurse tonight and get a good sleep
