I'm waiting for the kids to go to sleep so I can have my way with their mother.

Yes and now my daughter has come creeping down the stairs insisting that she can't sleep! And she's 'trying real hard - honest mammy!'
I know she will be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow so it would be nice if she would just drop off so that I can get some sleep myself!
My Christmas wish this year will be for some sleep because she has been over excited for days - thank god her brother is too young to even notice it's Christmas!
Hope you and your family have a lovely day tomorrow and that they drop off soon so that you can get some peace. Merry Xmas!

Oh all these parents are here waiting for their children to sleep!! Oh how wonderful!!! When I was small my mom used to say "If you don't sleep Santa won't come!!" Oh how mad she would get at that time! I don't sleep really, There was this one time I was taking a shower my baby brother was watching TV in my mom's room... And she was able to sneak the gifts on the couch!! XD I love that time!!! I think she gave us a dancing Macarena Gorilla that time! XD Oh good times good times!!! Guess what I just spent my Christmas in deep solitude and darkness in my room!!! Yay! Fell asleep from 7:30 to 1 am!! I even put a sign on my door "Tomare!" "Stop!" and drew japanese characters saying stop and also drew a sleeping person below it! XD ! locked my room turned up my laptop's volume enough for me to here it at the second floor of my bed and then I turned on my electric fan since it was still too early to turn the aircon on, then I dozed off... Oh the laptop's music was so nice ^-^ ... Little wing, Sakura Kiss, Shizuku... I think All of those are Jpop songs little wing is quite soft It's so relaxing .-. ... Kukuku XD I slept the wrong way again with my head where my feet's supposed to be! XD ... oh my gosh after that sleep I ate 3 layers of thick slices of bread with melted cheese and ham O.O ... I still feel sick from that ... 6.9 ... Need to drink some juice...

Our family tradition is for dad to take the kids out on Christmas eve to see the Christmas lights, while mum does the Santa thing then when they come home -hey guess what, Santa's been! That saves the bedtime trouble and believe me, the kids don't care if it's a day early!

If you are having a hard time with getting them to bed, try letting them play and wearing themselves out a bit, drugging them up with sleepytime food or heavy food, that can make anyone tired, and let them stay up late and watch a couple of movies, no naps during the day, good luck!

Yes I am waiting for them to go to bed so I can finish wrapping and bring them out. I mostlikely won't be able to get at it until after 1:00am in the morning.

enjoy it ... it will soon be over. and then what have we to look forward to...a whole year to build up to the next one.

I find a good idea is to place a few smaller presents under the tree on christmas eve while you have sent everyone out...shopping/playing etc... tho' they will try to pick and poke and guess which one is theirs. It takes their mind off possible bigger pressies. Its all good fun.
