religious! dont let anyone lie to you. thats a good Q. usually when you do have a child, especially if you truly love it. You tend to be more humble in this dark world. So yes, more religious!

Being a childless atheist, I would say it would encourage religious thought. Hope for the future.

I can't see why it would promote religious thought. If I had a child I would do everything to ensure religious trash doesn't enter his/her mind.

Depends on the person I suppose. For me, neither, until the birth of my twins, when the pregnancy was high risk, and I thought one or both might not live. Than I turned more to God.

I can't say it changes one's thoughts but it certainly does govern one's reactions because suddenly you have this child who has sooooo many questions and is looking to you for all the answers.

I would think so....would you want to raise a child by the law of the land and the TV set?

Or by the Law of G-d?

I'd go with G-d.
