Generally I think for men it fades with age, but for women it increases apparently.

Cut out the fags and booze fellas, that might help you later on in life when your wife suddenly wants it twice a day but the milkman and gardener are on holiday.

Speak for yourself harry , im 48 and still putting up a grand show, well enough to keep a 28 year old wife happy anyway :). and what about people in the public eye notorious womanisers i.e Micheal Douglas ( Self confessed sexaholic) Tony curtis, Clint Eastwood de dah de dah and on and on all mature middle age men . In complete disagreement with Harry I have to say a resounding NO! to your question. The desire does not fade the it becomes a much stronger force in the knowledge you got a few miles in and know the ropes as they say. So the menu has a few more dishes on. Well tthats my account on declining sexuality in the male of the species. On the contrary, as I get older it gets so much better. So much so, that in the next week I am getting married again to the same man. We will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. By exchanging our vows on a romantic beach. So it all depends on how creative you are, also how much energy you want to put into your sex life. My desire for my husband has not faded but grown. I am a f 43, and i know i have higher hormones than a 20 year old. The older us women get, the higher are sex drive is. Experience is an other thing. I need it every day, its like a drug and its so addictive. Compare a 40's something women to a 20's something chick, you cant. Thats why we are called cougars, and they are called hoars, cheers.

It really depends on the individual. We are all different and have different drives and desires. Who can tell what will happen in the future to awaken the sexual side of our being.

They say men hit their peek sexually at 17 and women at 38. i'm 40 and still going strong. my boyfriend is 55 and he has a huge sex drive. So I think it has more to do with what goes on in your mind than anything else. Short of some sort of health issue that is.

No way....the desire is as strong as ever...sometimes I guess life and stress take their toll but the basic desire and need for sex still goes on and on and on....with experience it just gets better and better...quite frisky right now ....and I'm shattered as I've just wrapped a huge load of presents, just helping Father Christmas out...as you do....
