The word rapture is not mentioned in the Bible. The theory of the rapture is not truth.

There are many words we use today that are not in the bible but the meaning is the same. Rapture just means caught up.

Rapture is the Latin term. In English translations it would be "caught up".

the word can not be found in the Bible. Some have taken 1Thessalonians 4:17 for this meaning, but is not found in the Bible any where.

I am not sure but IF it is, it would probably be in the New Testament and probably towards the end. Check in the book of Revalations. Not sure though!
