everytime i see my bf checking someone out or staring at some fit celeb on telly i get soo upset! yesterday he told me that jessica simpson is hot and really attractive, this makes me want to look like her and i feel so horrible and upset with myself coz my bf finds other ppl attractive. he nos how i feel we have talked about it and 'im just being daft, and need to get over it' i no i do but how, it hurts real deep im very insecure.

you shouldn't get insecure about it. You are a real person who doesn't have hair and make-up people trailing after you 24/7 like Jessica Simpson. She is just one of those fantasy crushes. Everyone has them! Don't you ever look at a guy on tv and go "phwoar he's fit!"? It doesn't mean you are comparing them to your bf or that you like your bf any less. It's just one of those things, doesn't mean anything.

First off, Jessica Simpson is NOT attractive. She's trogdor. Morena Baccarin is a real woman. Second, don't be jealous or insecure about it. Mostly because of my initial statement. Additionally, he's just being a normal guy, vocalizing his attraction to..gasp, could it be...women. Although he could do better than Jessica Simpson, but that's something between you guys. Also, you mentioned he does this only to celebs. Celeb chicks are unattainable by normal Joe Schmos, so there's nothing to worry about. Unless he's saying the same stuff about some girl in your neighborhood.

I am sorry to say that 90% of men always look at the talent. It is hard wired into our genetic makeup. This does not mean that he is not fond of you and does not want you. It is that other women are the stars to him and you are the moon, outshining all others.
What should worry you is if he does not look, he will have lost interest in love and romance. Do not compare yourself to all these vapid celebs, they all seem to have perfect lives and superb looks, but I am sure you will find they have some awful insecurities that make yours seem trite by comparison. why do you get upset,men are very visual people and you can't tell me that you never check out guys. but here is the differance you have him you can have sex with him anytime you want so just be happy that you have each other and don't let it bother you that he looks at other women,there's a old saying "just because your on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu" right so get over it.have a happy christmas or what ever you like to do.

well insecurity starts with you if you not enough alone you will never enough and i am sure you are attractive so dont worry bout that but as a guy yes we check all women does not mean we dont love and want to be with our girl guys want to see every women naked even if they are ugly guys are goofy so what if he finds jessica simpson atttactive i do to but i dont love her i love my baby if a person has everything they ever wanted the imagination would not be needed and that leads to a boring life

you really shouldn't get jealous...he trusts you enough to be saying this in front of you and you would rather have that then him saying it behind your back for sure...he loves you he is with you and lets face it we all know there are people that are prettier than us...it is a fact of life...just agree with him if you think someone is cute or pretty...its a huge compliment for you when he does this in front of you...you seem very insecure and shouldn't be...many guys find that not attractive and can push them away so be careful

the key is one SELF CONFIDENCE
never never never try to become like somebody else
you are who you are and if he doesnt like you for that send him to find something else
even if you dont feel self confident dont ever show him that, even if you arent ACT like one
and the next he says about a celeb how atrractive she looks do the same thing yourself when you see a male celeb or a guy on the street that is attractive tell it to him!!

its only natutral to feel attracted to other people. just so longs as he doesnt cheat on u its ok.
talk to him. tell him it hurts to hear him say and do these things. if he truely loves and cares for you he will stop.

okay,i know it looks bad,but men do it for quite innocent reason. to show off to mates,to get their partners jealous (to get some ego boosting themselves) or just to admire.this does not mean they want to run off with them. its always been so. more you play up to it,more he may do it. just ignore it
