baking soda!!! A handful on a damp cloth will help, rub it all in his mouth really good. a teaspoon in his dinner everyday will have long term results. lots of chewy rawhides help to keep his teeth clean as well. good luck

Maybe you could buy dog toothpaste, we got some but never used it. Or try giving it a mint or tictac... no joke it might work. But really you could get dog toothpaste, or just bear the facts that dogs have bad breath. in our point of view.

I gave my lab a uh type of liquid that you put in their water and stirr it up and it made his breath smell great. and also maybe somethings going on in his stomach. like something rotting or something. i dont know. but i do know that, that liquid stuff does work. i think you can get it at the petstore.

Did you vet say it wasn't an internal problem? It sounds funny but sometimes you have to brush their tongue>! IF your dog will let you it helps. Good luck!

Walmart and KMart have some dog biscuits that help with their breath-----it does help--doesnt solve the problem, but helps.

try giving him a chew toy. one of those that say dental clean (etc.) on them. they actually clean the teeth, most likely breath too.
does he eat anything bad? maybe he goes outside and eats things.
