The size of the turkey makes a big difference (the bigger the bird, the less time per pound), so I would have to recommend you to www.butterball.com, which has an excellent guide for roasting a turkey.

People ...If he bought a Butterball he'd just wait for the button to pop out!!! It's a half hour a pound believe me I have cooked tons of turkey!!!
