I'm a nurse. Because it is a steroid. If your doctor gives you these shots, don't have too many. The long term effects gives you large holes in your bones as a result of any form of a steroid.

It is a corticol steriod, speeds healing tremendlously. But is adictive and replaces natural healing, much more dangerous anabolic steriods but at times a wonder drug for reasonable times
