Too many people keep complaining about how Christmas isn't a diverse holiday. Half the time, people aren't "allowed" to say Merry Christmas to each other...especially in the media and in retail stores. Now it's all Happy Holidays and Season's Greetings. The government is taking CHRISTMAS away from the people in the country that believe in it because of the whiners..... so many people are becoming afraid to put up decor because of this.

It's sad.

Cos people have realise that that Xmas is so commercialised now..The shops, credit card companies, loan companies are only interested in taking your money ...
Maybe it's time we should get back to the true values of Xmas...

Merry Xmas....

I am wondering the same thing. In my street there only 2 houses decorate mine and someone elses... Almost everyone have kids, so i dont c why the spirit is fading away???? Maybe is because more kids are believeing that Santa is not real. My kids belive in Santa so do I... So I think, is something about beliefs and faight...

Here in the states though I feel like everyone is tip toeing around afraid of hurting people's feelings, so it seems we are trying to make it a generic Christmas. Everyone talks about how it's great to be unique, be individualistic, be proud of who you are, but we put up a tree in Seattle Int'l airport and then it's in the news, that it's offensive, then its taken down. *Sigh* They did end up putting it back up. Anyway, maybe the decorations are too pricey for businesses, and quite possibly they are afraid of offending someone. So dumb. I agree with the German comment earlier.

I don't really know. However if you watch tv now and then, it makes up for what you don't see ten fold. Every commercial is full of xmas cheer trying to sucker people into blowing their hard earned dough.

I don't know where you shop but I see decorations all over the place where I shop.

As for Christmas, it's not about the material things. Christmas would not be Christmas without Christ. I noticed you left his name out of your version. I hope you have not left him out of your life. He is the reason for the season.
