If we were created for the purpose of serving our creator, then why does he forbid us to create our own beings who would be our servents???

I dont really think he would. Why would he? People have an image of a clone as being an exact copy of you with your exact same mind and memories - with your soul for instance. But it doesnt work that way. If you are cloned - its just going to be another human with your looks and some of your traits. But for the most part, that person is going to have their own soul and beliefs. Their life will be molded by their own expeirences, not what you have experienced in life. They would be their own person. No different than a child created through invitro fertilization. It would be as if they are creating you a twin. Your twin is not you. Its just your brother or sister.
Other than that, i see no sense in cloning. Why do it. Why clone when there are so many unwanted kids in the world today. Adopt instead. Now if we could get cloning to the point of where we could only clone body parts and organs (not entire humans for harvesting, just organs and parts) that would be so great. You need a heart, they clone you a new one. Imagine.....
That is so far away though.

The Bible doesn't directly address this but there are those who believe cloneing will be utilized to make the anti-christ's counterfit resurection that occurs at the mid point of the 7 year tribulation period come to pass. Also souls come from God. Clones would be soul-less unless God blesses them.

No, you got it wrong. God promotes cloning. It's just that up to now, mankind has not had the ability. Now that it is becoming possible, God will soon be asking us to clone all the good people. then eventually the bad people will die out, and the Earth will become a paradise...

1. Do clones have souls?
2. Can clones make "spiritual choices?
3. Clones are not created by natural selection.

I will say this, if Hitler has this ability, he would have used for his "master race" and eradicated everyone who either disliked him/his view or anyone whom he saw had a flaw.

Because that is His job.

Also, because it is not creating life from the love between 2 people like God intended it, but rather out of convenience and commodity, thus implying that human life is cheap because it could be created or duplicated synthetically like inanimate objects that are manufactured and sold for our consumption in stores.

well first of all it would be wrong to make clones just to make them serve us because a clone would still be our equal. its not the same case with God who can do anything he wishes. We cant take the role of God....we are nothing compared to him.

who speaks for god and cloning? god does not forbid anything--people say god does. it's self-serving moralizing.
