Can anyone tell me how much adopting will cost and how long it will take in the state of Florida?

That depends on what agency you use and where the adopted child comes from, US foster child or a foreign country.
Check your local Children's Services, they do adoptions of children from the foster system and the cost is usually very low. In CA we only had to pay $15 for our fingerprints to be checked, everything else is covered by the county, and most states have an allotment for the child monthly. If you go foreign, it can cost anywhere between $30,000 - $60,000.

shouldn't you be talking to an adoption agency who knows what they are talking about...and not just a bunch of people who are randomly guessing!? psh....are you sure you can be a parent? your choices in seeking info aren't the smartest ones i've seen. 2 thumbs up on adopting though!
