The coolest dog is a rescued dog from the pound that is given love and attention and is trained. Dogs take time and training. In the long run, you'll have the coolest dog. Have a dog gone great Christmas.

When you say live in NY, do you mean an apartment? If so I would go with a small dog, but keep in mind they still will need walks daily if possible! Or you might come home to a chewed up apartment....I like Italian Greyhounds, and Yorkshire terriers are cool too.

Labrador Retrievers are the greatest dogs. There is nothing you can not train them to do and with ease. They are the most loving, loyal, affectionate, intelligent, devoted, and versatile dog. I have had tons of different breeds and loved all the dogs but never fell in love with a breed until I git my first Lab and now I would never be without one.

It depends, If you live in an apartment you probably want a small dog, if you have a house, bigger are better. Id go with a Canaan Dog, Lab, or Golden Retriver for a house, and maybe a Chihuahua for an apartment.

FRENCH BULLDOGS!!!
They are not yappy, don't need a lot of exercise and room, and are not too big (about 25 pounds, but they are highly muscled so they don't look like they should weight that much). Most Frenchies get their exercise playing in the house/apartment and do not need to be walked every day. They also do not shed very much, are very laid back, extremely social, and love kids.

It depends what your interests are, all dogs will play with you and be devoted to you, some are just alot smarter than others and easier to train.. the smartest dog out there is a bordercollie. ( I have one) I've had other breeds, But nothing comes close to this dogs intelligence, I will now only get bordercollies..But they're not for everyone, they need to be kept busy, and thinking..

the Mississippi Mole Murauder. Very rare! You can occasionally
find a puppy in some of the Seabee bars in Gulfport,Ms. They are black and white about 40 lbs. and hunt,catch and kill the common starnose lawn mole. We have one, won by my son in a bar set-to.

Labs!!! They are the nicest and best to have around, they just want to make you happy, and love to play. But new york, dont know need alot of room to play and run around, or at least I know mine does. Merry Christmas

Chihuahua is a perfect inside dog, they are perfectly happy on your lap. They are easily crate trained. I raise them! I have 26 of them, 17 of which are pups for sale. They are all purebred. $200 each only!

Although all dogs are great, I would never own any breed other than a Chihuahua. I have five.
