things were so great when my girlfiend & I first got together, she smiled & laughed more, said she was happy & all, lately especially this week she's not as talkative & doesn't smile like she use to, she says it's not me & that I read into things more than they are. But when she gets like this, what else am I suppose to think??

The holidays are difficult for many people. It could be that she has her own internal issues going on and doesn't want to bring you down. I think you should reserve judgement on this change in behavior until after the holidays are over.

If shes not as happy as usual it's not necessarily you. There are probably other things that happen in her life. You just have to be good to her, no one is all laughs all the time. If she wants you to know she will tell you.

Tell her that she should share this problem with you. You two are partners, there isn't one thing that you should have to tackle alone. She should understand why you are worrying about her.
