While Iraq doesn't necessarily "pay" anything to the troops to fight the War on Terror, the military, regardless of branch, does receive extra bonuses (incentives) in their pay when they are stationed in any area that is:

* Subject to hostile fire or explosion of hostile mines;
* In an area in which he was in imminent danger of being exposed to hostile fire or explosion of hostile mines and in which, during the period he was on duty in that area, other members of the uniformed services were subject to hostile fire or explosion of hostile mines;
* In a foreign area in which he was subject to the threat of physical harm or imminent danger on the basis of civil insurrection, civil war, terrorism, or wartime conditions or

If the service member is killed, injured, or wounded by hostile fire, explosion of a hostile mine, or any other hostile action.

And I think anyone in Iraq pretty much qualifies as long as they're stationed there.

This pay is $225 a month in addition to base pay (regular pay) and any other additional allowances that the service member receives.

the terroists that you speak of are nothing more (majority at least) than iraqi men with no job, no future to look forward to, and see us as invaders and infidels, what would you do if you had no job and france had invaded our country and now had a tank patrolling your neiborhood at all hours of the night fireing its weapons and scareing your family............. I know what I do...... join the resistance.

They should, but no. However, if you are trying to insinuate that we shouldn't be there, then we shouldn't have gotten involved in Europe during WWII either.
