just stop.. Easy as that. Contrary to most peoples opinions we are not governed by our libidos.

for a start you are not going to go to prison because she is 16 and legally allowed to have sex. therfore you are not breaking any laws. i believe that age doesnt matter. i was with a man 14 years older than me when i was 14 and i dont regret a thing. the relationship taught me a lot about relationships an men! for me the realtionship was illegal as i wasnt over 16 but we couldnt help the way we felt at the time. if she feels the same way then why shouldnt you be together. it happens alot these days and people are very happy. the only people that wont be impressed are likely to be family and the girls parents and it may be hard making them realise that you are serious about each other but once they realise you are they may come round to the idea. i say follow your heart!

The only thing that I understood from your question is that there is a 16 year old and something about the number 26...let me see what else I can make out of your question..something about stopping it from falling apart and leaving the country..hmmmm let me see here...is a 16 year old leaving in 26 days to another country?
Sorry I did try to figure it out.

That's probably too big an age gap at those ages, give them a few years and it will be okay. At 16, chances are that emotionally the person will be quite a bit behind the 26 year old.
If you're in Britain then it's perfectly legal, elsewhere I'm not too sure about the laws.

I fell in love with my boyfriend at 16, we started going out when I was 17 and we're still together two years later. He is six years older but it makes no difference, my parents love him, my friends think he's great, there aren't any problems at all. Don't make it an issue and it won't be.
Then again this is England and the legal age is 16, I don't know where these people are who are calling you names.

get involved with some adult activities where you can meet other people closer to your age. 16 is too young for someone 26. see a counselor if you have that much trouble staying away from a 16 yr old.

You don't have to leave the country to stop loving her. Let the 16-year-old realize that you want someone close to your age, not someone like 10 yrs younger than you. He/she most likely won't understand, but that's the only way, I think. Just move on and let the 16-yr-old know that you have no intentions of hurting her/him but just wanna be with someone close to your age.

Have some self control, u can fantasise or flirt but not with intent, u will regret it. It's not a healthy age gap unless she was over 25 then it doesn't matter.

You are WAY to old to even be hanging out with a 16 year old. Please for the 16 year olds sake leave them alone. You need to seek counseling and find friends closer to your own age!!
