Any hope that wars and discord will be stopped or at least reduced? Any single event occured this year that leads you to think that way?

yes I believe that the world will improve because if the news would report more on the good things than the bad then we would be more inclined to see the beautiful things around us and if we as a nation would not dwell on the bad we would be more positive . I stiil believe in the prosperity of our nation and the promise of freedom . I stillbelieve in the kindness of strangers . when I see an act of kindness I stil smile. I smile when I see my family because I know what they will contribute on a day to day basis so yes I stiil see goodness and kindness because I believe all is not lost for this world our nation the good ol USA.

Nothing I have seen would lead me to believe that the world will be a better place next year. Now that all these groups have seen what success terrorist are having in Iraq and elsewhere around the world just gives them the justification to do mayhem themselves.

The UN is a joke and the "world powers" are so split that there is no incentive for these groups not to do their thing. So my vote is No.

Next year the world will de-prove not im-prove.

We have terrorism increasing all over the world.
iran and north korea gaining huge power.
iraq crisis.
hezballah threatnin to overthrow the government.
sudan issue
palestinan israeli conflict.
democrats taking congress.
republicans in power.
nuclear holocaust.
chavez opressing his people.
islamic extremists declaring jihad on somalia and ethiopia.
syria interfering in other countries affairs.
france cant control muslims.
america is being islamisized.
and............

al qaeda is still in progress

the world is being annihilated as we know it

The US will have a balanced government...that's a positive...at least we might be able to confront problems with one voice that is more like what the average American can stand behind

I too, wish it won't but, there is not a doubt in my mind that it is just going to get worse. The sad truth is, we are heading for a 3rd world war...

O yes it will become better because the Democrats told us if we voted for them the whole world would change for the better.
