I keep hearing about women claiming that they can spot a guy on the prowl who is either flirtatious and likes a girl or is desperate for a girl. Can women really spot such attributes and if so, what are the signals that set off the alarm?

a desperate guy will put on this sexy voice and like touch the girl...while a flirty one will just lean on a railing and be chill......any guy who starts a convo with a girl they haven't met with the words "hey hottie" is definately desperate

No there is no "thin" line. flirting is simply being friendly and enjoying "the game" desperation is giving in.

some times you can if they put there flirting on way to strong then you know they are desperate but some guys hide it really well
