No. But the good news is that when you continue the life with that person for a while, you will come to know if that love will save the relationship or not. The more you get closer to a person, the more you will know about the faults, and if you're wise, your wisdom will tell you if it is worth being with that person, inspite of his/her faults and inspite of your love.
Being in love and having a successful relationship is about prioritizing what you can stand or put up with and what you cannot. There is no such thing as a perfect person. Love and life is about compromise. The tolerance of each person varies for individual characters. You just have to find the middle ground with compromise and makes both of you happy. And when compromise doesn't work, it's time to get out.

Sometimes, I think if someone just catches you by suprise and turns your whole world upside down then no. My fiancee did that to me. I met him through a friend and we met over the phone. We talked and talked talked some more and pretty soon we were talking every day. We became very good friends, then best friends and now we're engaged. It's funny how these things just sneak up on you sometimes. When I first started talking to him I never imagined we'd be how we are today. I thank God for him though.

Not really but if you do fall in love and that person does you wrong you'll be heartbrooken, best thing to do is to try to avoid to fall in love.

You cannot help who you fall in love with, but you can certainly control its continuance with someone whom you shouldn't be in love with. I am talking abt someone who doesnt make you happy enough, etc.... But remember, if you're in love, who knows that it may NOT be love; it may just be lust.... and as someone has said, they're 2 very different things.

Yes. If you find yourself developing feelings for someone who is taken you have to stop yourself and stay away from that person and don't allow yourself to have those feelings. I think people can decide to love or not at the beginning if they try hard enough.

No and it sucks sometimes too...your heart just takes over and leaves your body behind and you can sometimes find yourself in a situation you'd rather not be in...they say follow your heart...but I have done that and got hurt many many times.
