There are several 'mysteries' that surround his death. Pathologically, he died from a ruptured aneurysm in his brain.
One of the 'stories' surrounding the reason why he died of a brain aneurysm was that "Bruce liked to ingest hashish." This has actually been confirmed. Bruce loved to eat some hash and then meditate deeply.
That way, he got the euphoric feeling from the drug without having to inhale the smoke.
Supposedly, the hashish helped him to concentrate deeply, while at the same time enjoying the relaxing effects of the narcotics. It has been said that he may have gotten "bad hash" from his supplier, stuff that was loaded with opium, and because of the large amounts he ate, this "caused him to develop an aneurysm from the side effects of the powerful opium in the hash."
Opium laced hashish is meant to be smoked, not ingested as the ingestion would cause a higher potency of the drug.
Another 'tale' of his death was that he was a victim of the "vibrating palm", which is reported to be an actual martial arts technique known only by very few masters of the ancient martial arts secrets.
It was no secret that Bruce Lee had enemies, mostly because of his openness about sharing ancient secrets and personal techniques he learned from the 'underground' world of martial arts. Many Chinese martial arts masters did not appreciate Bruce's westernization of the arts.
This story reported that one of his enemies paid a lot of money to have a 'Master', perhaps one 'Count Dante', to travel here and deliver the 'vibrating palm' to Bruce.
This technique supposedly employs a very gentle 'strike' to the torso area of the victim, most likely the solar plexus, causing death 24-48 hours after it was delivered.
The reason behind this method is that it is supposedly impossible to identify the true cause of death thereby making it impossible to trace the assassin.
There is also, reportedly, a significant 'honour' for the victim who loses his life via this method. Bruce Lee was said to be aware of the technique and was trying to learn to master it, which was an extreme insult to those who held the technique extremely sacred and exercised their right to pass it on "only to those deserving of it's sacredness."
Bruce Lee, without a doubt, was one of the most perfect physical specimens to live in our time. Despite his status as an 'actor', he was more than capable of engaging in successful combat with the best martial arts people who lived during his era, or our era for that matter.
People like Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, and even Jet Li couldn't have held a candle to the person of Bruce Lee.
Whatever the real reason behind his death, he left this world too soon.

Bruce Lee's death was officially attributed to cerebral edema.
On July 20, 1973, Lee was in Hong Kong, due to have dinner with former James Bond star George Lazenby, with whom he intended to make a film. According to Lee's wife Linda, Bruce met producer Raymond Chow at 2 P.M. at home to discuss the making of the movie Game of Death. They worked until 4 P.M. and then drove together to the home of Betty Ting Pei, a Taiwanese actress who was to have a leading role in the film. The three went over the script at her home, and then Chow left to attend a dinner meeting.
A short time later, Lee complained of a headache, and Ting Pei gave him an analgesic. At around 7:30 P.M., he lay down for a nap. After Lee did not turn up for the dinner, Chow came to the apartment but could not wake Lee up. A doctor was summoned, who spent ten minutes attempting to revive him before sending him by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. However, Lee was dead by the time he reached the hospital. There was no visible external injury; however, his brain had swollen considerably, from 1,400 to 1,575 grams (13%). Lee was thirty-two years old. On October 15, 2005, Chow stated in an interview that Lee was allergic to Equagesic. When the doctors announced Bruce Lee's death officially, it was coined as "Death by Misadventure."
However, the exact details of Lee's death are controversial. Bruce Lee's iconic status and unusual death at a young age led many people to develop many theories about Lee's death, such as a murder involving triads, gangsters, ninjas, and so on — none of these have ever been proven.

He tried to fight Kung Fu Joe.
Here is what happened.
See in the 70's bruce lee was selling drugs and pimping black women in New York. He was called Big Bad Lee.
Flyguy found out that he was taking his business and his hoes from him so he let the word slip to the neighborhood crime fighter John Slade. Slade got together his posse of Hammer, Slammer and Kung Fu Joe and they went to put the beat down on Big Bad Lee for exploiting the kids and women in the neighborhood.
Mr. Lee heard they were coming for him so he kidnapped Bell Brown to warn Slade off and threatened to "put her on the street" if he didn't back off.
Slade responded by destroying Lee's nightclubs and scaring his hoes away and then assaulted lee's fortress in what was then known as Chinese Harlem (it was very small only about a quarter of a block).
During the battle Kung Fu Joe squared off with bruce lee and beat him into submission with his superior martial arts ability. Afterwards bruce lee begged kung fu joe for his life and promised to renounce his evil ways. Kung Fu Joe accepted and soon after the two became freinds and joe even studied acting under bruce lee for a time when he wanted to give up his crime fighting career. Lee died when an injury during that fight long ago with KFJ acted up and he suddenly died.

As huckypeep said, the official findings were that he died from Cerebral Edema (swelling of the brain) brought on by the pharmaceuticals in the Equigesic pill that his costar Betty Ting Pei gave him for a headache he had while he visited her to discuss another movie they were producing, He was due to meet the head of Golden Harvest (Raymond Chow) for a dinner party but never showed.
Ms. Ting Pei couldn't wake Bruce and called Raymond Chow and the paramedics and the autopsy findings officially ruled it as a "death by misadventure".
before then Bruce had a couple of blackout episodes where he'd pass out for unknown periods of time but recovered.
There's been a lot of speculation to Bruce's death, but it's also been rumors that've circulated even to this day.

He was suffering from a headace one night and a friend gave him Equagesic, an alegesic for it. When he didn't arrive for a meeting, his freinds went to check on him, and he was out and couldn't be revived. There were no visible signs of injury, but his brain was swollen. His freind claimed he was allergic to the medication he took. Legend has his death coming at the hads of gangsters or ninjas, because of his age and the circumstances surrounding his mysterious death
