The only thing I can think of is to keep them hot, beat in some potato buds and cream cheese. That should tame the taste of the Romano.

Don't add cheese. Just boil the potatoes until done, add a dash of salt, and some ground black pepper. Then add a large knob of butter. Mash. If still dry, then add a little milk to soften.

by making a new batch because other then that, the cheese will still linger it as you mentioned.Next time don't add cheese, just cook it normally. Then buy differently kinds of cheese such as Parmesan,Cheddar, etc, then let the guest put how much or how little they want because some people like less and others more.

Hope i helped

You'll have to add more potatoes, then sample again. Season again as needed. You will probably end up with enough to feed your whole neighborhood so just add small amounts... Good Luck! STOP WITH THE SALT!

Open the back door and chuck them out..If you have a penchant for potatoes with cheese that is your choice. Don't like it my self!! Boiled potatoes, EVAPORATED milk, alot of butter. Beat the hell out of it. If you season them with salt, pepper, rosemary, or fennel, most likely someone won't like it..Let your guest season to their own taste.....

add cream and butter but not to much or over power it with herbs something strong like garlic or rosemary. or you could if time cook more mash and add that to dul the taste.

Add a little milk or mayo -- fresh herbs, chives/green onions, pesto or paprika may help.
