The fallen one. Jesus said "I saw Satan fall to earth like lightning". This occurance happened at the moment Lucifer decided he could be like Almighty God. From that time on he has been looking for anyone to decieve. In muhommed's case, the results have proven devastating.

Alif Laam Raa. A book which we have revealed to you (Muhammad) so that you may lead the people from out of the darknesses into the light by their Lord's leave to the path of the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy." The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 14,Verse 1
The Qur'an is a Message from Allah to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). This message was given to the Prophet (pbuh) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 622 CE). The Prophet (pbuh) was 40 years old when the Qur'an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.
QURAN is the only WORD OF GOD in ORIGINAL/PURE FORM. Reason is clear in the verse below, that GOD promised to protect QURAN.
[15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.
The Quranic challenge (since past 1400 years, present and future)
Here are the verses that mention the challenge;
Say, "If all the humans and all the jinns banded together
in order to produce a Quran like this, they could never
produce anything like it, no matter how much assistance
they lent one another." [17:88]
If you have any doubt regarding what we revealed to our
servant, then produce one sura like these, and call upon
your own witnesses against GOD, if you are truthful.
[2:23]
This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than
GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a
fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from
the Lord of the universe. If they say, "He fabricated it,"
say, "Then produce one sura like these, and invite
whomever you wish, other than GOD, if you are truthful."
[10:37-38]
If they say, "He fabricated (the Quran)," tell them, "Then
produce ten suras like these, fabricated, and invite
whomever you can, other than GOD, if you are truthful."
[11:13]
Do they say, "He made it all up?" Instead, they are
simply disbelievers. Let them produce a Hadith like this,
if they are truthful. [52:33-34]

You do have an interesting point there...and it would explain a heck of alot! That nonsense about God and Jesus conspiring to fool everyone and make them think that Jesus had died...that does sound an awful lot like something Satan would cook up.
The violence, the 72 virgins, the boys that shine like pearls, calling itself "the religion of peace" when it is really a religion of submission...yeah, I can smell the sulfur, alright!!
That explains the extremists, and explains how Islam was able to move to the U.S. and mislead our disaffected black youth...
Satan, raging up and down like a lion, looking for gullible souls to devour.
I will be on my knees, asking God to open the eyes of those who have been blinded by this colossal dirty trick on the Arab world...and I will also pray that other Christians will do the same!!

Do you think the devil would teach to not to lie, cheat, steal, kill. And yes Muhammad (pbuh) taught people to be peaceful. A soldier who Defends his people against attacks is not thought to be evil so why do you not think of Muhammad (pbuh) in the same way.
Dont focus on what the Prophet (pbuh) did that you think is wrong (even though you cant judge him by the standards of today!), but think of all his good deeds also when you think about him. Would a devil teach these things? I dont even think you yourself believe that.
also it wasn't just that the Prophet (pbuh) heard voices but he actually saw the angel. and its sad that some of you are disrespecting him like this

It was the Archangel Gabriel, Satan would not have told him to worship God alone...
Read the first page of the Qu'ran
[001.001] In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
[001.002] All the praises and thanks be to God, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
[001.003] The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
[001.004] The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
[001.005] You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
[001.006] Guide us to the Straight Way
[001.007] The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
Do you think Satan said this? or is true revelation from God!

Should have heeded Paul's warning: "And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds" (II Corinthians 14,15)
He further said: "But even though we, or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8,9)

The voices was likely an evil spirit. I read somewhere that Muhammad himself thought he was demon-possessed.

If it was ANgel Gabriel there will be people that whould say it wasnt, if it wasnt Angel Gabriel there will always be people that whould say it was, even if the real angel Gabriel spoke up for himself he whould be either revered or condemned depending on the person in question.

Well, look at the precepts and practices of these belief systems.
Look at their goals and the means to the ends.
Actions speak louder than words.
