I heard this rumor I was just wondering if it is true If you have any information that can prove this is true and not just some made up myth that people say. I would like documented information on this subject, information that has been either tested or worked on in a lab. The reason I ask this, is because who would want to go around peeing on their feet if it doesn't really work. Then you will end up with some other virus or dieseas then I will be asking you guys about that next.

Your urine is sterile, it's just water with minerals in it. You won't get a disease from it if you pee on yourself. People pee on their bodies all the time. (Why girls wipe and boys shake).

People aren't really sure if it actually helps get rid of athletes foot or if it helps expose the infected area. Urea which is in urine, is used in athletes foot medication. It breaks down proteins so the other compounds can heal the infection. Urine does help a bit, but peeing on your feet wouldn't effectively heal athletes foot. It'd be best to just get medication.

If it works or not, I wouldn't recommend doing it.
While it can't hurt you, you would have to let it dry on your feet and then suffer the smell. There plenty of foot products, liquid & powder out there in your local drug store, use one of them.

I'm a nurse. No dear this don't work at all. I would try the otc medication called lamisil. Now that works like a charm. Take care, you deserve it.

Than sounds pretty gross. I have never heard of anything like it. Although your doctor would probably disapprove he or she may be able to tell you why people would think that or what about urine kills fungus.
