I don't have a recipe because I am that Grandma you guys talk about cooking by heart, I make white buttermilk cornbread from the mix, then crumble in bowl, add chopped onion, about tbsp of rubbed sage, chopped celery and liquid made from chicken boullion cubes, til very moist, sometimes I add a chopped boiled egg because my mom did that. Bake it at about 400 til it's hot and bubbly around the edges and starting to brown a little around the edges. It's Christmas Eve, I'm alone and thank you for letting me be a part of your Christmas.

I box the cornbread stuffing in a box (who has time ok?) and add walnuts, raisins, Italian Sausage, a little red wine, maybe a little more, salt and fresh sweet pepper to taste, parsley and cook it in whatever unfortunate fowl happened to get its head cut off!
