Not this old chestnut again

Does anyone out there really believe one bloke could really have done all that. No I thought not

It's a load of old bollox, Stories, make believe, fiction. Remember fiction like JK Rowling and the others write so beautifully

Really in this day and age when we are more intelligent than we ever have been we still believe stories (yes STORIES) written 2000 plus years ago

Come on people if this guy was so great where was he when all the bad things around was happening. Where was he when my daughter lost her son at birth after carrying him for a full 9 months. This little chap had not even had a chance in life or to even draw breath let alone do anything wrong.

So where was your GOD then

I for one rest my case for the non-believers and until someone can answer me from my personal perspective this is the way my feelings will stay

Jesus
son of Joseph and Mary
Joseph
descendant of the line of David
the "line of Kings"
the line of the Hebrew "Messiahs"

So yes.... in a purely EARTHLY sense
Jesus was King of Kings since no other "King of Israel" came after he was crucified..... he was the last of his line...

This is actually where that phrase (King of Kings) comes from if anyone would just read about it..... all the European Kings supposedly trace their 'right to rule' from the Carolingian Kings and the Merovingian Kings

Who trace it back to Jesus and the Davidic line of Kings......

i believe christianity is a collection of stories created and used by rome to bring order in in very troubled times some 1500 years ago. Many events said to have happend to jesus were actually stories surrounding the life of a roman god called mithras.

I can't believe some of the answers given here. It seems all have fallen into the trap being created by our so called leaders. We are being led into a secular world, into believing only the governmental decrees are the words to follow. One person said Jesus could not save himself, missing the reason for his death which was to cleanse us of our sins. For goodness sake please wake up and see where our heads of state are trying to lead us and rebel before it's too late. Some day you will look back on this and think I wish I had a brain that funtioned for me and not for Bush or Blair.

I think Jesus taught great things, but I do not believe in a God who would send a good person to hell for not believing in him, or let children suffer, or make the ridiculous laws of the old testament, or play this game of good and evil, meet my demands or you loose, or the ego stuff, like Worship me, glorify me. If ego is bad, why does god want so much praise? I wish I could believe, but none of it makes any sense to me.

Because Historical fact, Science, and plain common sense, show plainly that this was never true ! Those that believe so have inherited cultural biases that are accepted without question.

It's only a meaningless title. Could have called him anything. Gardener of gardeners. Chippie of chippies. The point is it was a name bestowed on him by some clever dick who was no better informed than you or I are but who caught the public imagination.
