I could ask you the same question.
When are you going to look at the really real world and stop looking to a book of fairy tales for answers?

I like to be open minded about other's beliefs and I see that you are a devoted Christian. Good for you. May I ask how devoted are you?
The facts from the Book are certainly compelling reading and seem to cause you considerable anxiety, but I'm wondering why. If you are so devoted as you profess and you Love Jesus then surely you have nothing to be anxious about.
Are you frightened because you have done something wrong?
Is there something that you don't believe about your religion but are too scared to ask?
To what end be frightened if you have a pure heart and follow your commandments correctly and Love your Lord?
A small criticism though about your argument regarding the sign of the times as you refer to them....your quote doesn't mention anything about it...at all..!!
Another tiny criticism about the quote also, what does ...and I quote directly .....
"....we see through a glass, darkly;but then face to face: now I know in part........"
mean exactly...it is a very open ended quote which could mean ....well actually it doesn't make a single bit of logical sense...at all....about any damn thing......let alone the end of the world as we know it, what I mean is this...where are the references to the end of the world in your quote......??
Make sense please
Peace....from a Buddhist

Wait.. I thought you christians called America a "christian nation"?Does this mean you actually want to take some responsibility for the condition of the world today???
And speaking of the world, your christian president sent troops to Iraq under a boogieman threat that there was "imminent danger" to America via weapons of mass destruction.. killing millions of innocent people whose country never declared war on the United States.
When will you wake up and realize that your christian philosophy (we're in this world, not of it, so we can do whatever we want in the way of polluting her, raping her natural resources, killing off millions of species of animals and plantlife every year) is the reason for the "massive weather events" and the reason for the planet rebelling?
When will you wake up and stop treating the earth like your playground ? Do you really believe that no matter what you do, your God is going to come and get you out of this mess and then fix all the horrible things you did while you were here?
When are you going to realize that even in your bible your alleged "Rapture" theory says that no one knows the day or the hour.. are you willing to bet your children and grandchildren's lives on him coming in your lifetime? I hope so.
Who's covering their eyes to global warming, pollution, wars over oil, and the rape and pillage of this planet? Why do you close your eyes, put on shades and cover YOUR face to your responsibility?
If that's the kind of religion you want me to practice, no thank you. I'll stick with mine. We take responsibility for our lives, our decisions and our actions. We take responsibility for the earth and what's happening to her that's causing her to rebel. We don't blame the results of our decisions and actions on some fictious fallen angel or on other people.
We don't have some pie in the sky bye and bye philosophy that allows us to be that childish and irresponsible.

Maybe the apocalypse will come true when all you Christians start practicing what you preach. I mean, if you really BELIEVE in the word of God, then follow this one:
Exodus 35:2
"Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death."
So go out and start killing everyone at Wal-Mart, restaurants, mall stores, etc. just like your God commands you to!
Unless, of course, you still want to follow the Sixth Commandment that says "Thou Shalt Not Kill", in which case you have a glaring contradiction without resolution.
Why would a "perfect" being like God make such an error in judgement? While you ponder that, remember to keep your heat off on Sunday, even if it means you freeze to death:
Exodus 35:3
"Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day."
God commands it!

The Bible is not true... how much do you need to be told that most non-believers have already READ the Bible and found it to be severely lacking in any sort of authority?
Yes... it takes the intelligence of a 7 or 8 year old to believe anything in that book.

Book of Revelations
Written in 130 C.E. by "John of Patmos".
No longer considered to be the true word of Saint John by many biblical scholars.
John of Patmos is reputed to have died of an opium overdose.
That might explain why Revelations was considered Heresy until 450 C.E.
Guess you can see why I am not worried about that little chapter....

This doesn't prove that the book of Revelations is true. Cause and effect. If you do things that deplete natural resources without replacing or using things wisely then you suffer the consequences. If you work hard enough at it you can use the book of Revelations to predict any period in history that people thought was "the end of the world".

Jesus predicted the 2nd coming to happen within, at most, 100 years of his own death!
Mark 9:1 (Matthew 16:28; Luke 9:27) And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Kingdom of God come to power."
Revelations, AKA the apocalypse of john, is a book referring to people of HIS DAY, not the distant future! 666=Nero. and finally, your bible verse makes no sense.

Oh, well quoting your big fictional book has just converted me! Thank you!
Seriously, we've all heard your little "end of the world" stories. We don't care, they are fake. When will you open your eyes up to the real world and stop relying on a god to get you through life? You have to grow up sometime.

I've looked at the Bible, but since I haven't already decided that it's true, I don't find it any more convincing than anything else.
I already want to do my part to improve the world, with or without a God.

To asnwer your first question, "alot".. i guess. Not really a serious question it seems.
To answer your second question, because "non-believers" DO NOT believe Revelations... its a very hard concept for narrow and closed minded people to understand.
I felt like I lost a few IQ points reading this "question" and then lost a few more by answering it.
