Siamese are crazy. I like them, but they are crazy. It sounds like she is just fascinated by the sight, sound, and smell of the water. Also she may just want some attention.

Really don't know what to tell you about this. Just today, one of my cats jumped in the empty tub when I was using the toilet. I have never seen him do that before, but he jumped right back out when I sat down because he thinks that's his time to get attention from me. I'd ask your vet to see if they can give you any answers about this. I have read stories where some dogs will go into the shower when their guardians are taking one. I wish my cats would do this to help me bathe them since I'm on disability. Would save me a lot of back pain.

My newest kitty is obsessed with water. He loves the sound and to watch the water droplets. When I'm in the shower he will sit and watch a single water droplet run down the curtain. He usually doesn't try to attack it. He just watches it like it's an alien life form. He will cry for the water to get turned on too. When I get out of the shower he jumps in and will spend a good hour sometimes watching the water droplets. It's terribly funny. He looks down the drain like someone is stealing his water. Weird cat.
Sounds like you just have a crazy kitty like mine.

Siamese are really weird to begin with. If the cat is a wedgehead the brain is much smaller than in appleheads and other breeds, which makes their whole behavior set seem crazy. The running water thing is actually something that one of my cats does because she's fascinated by watching the running water and wants to play with it, until she jumps in and gets soaked. As for hanging out in the tub, I've seen every cat I've ever owned play in the tub, and the calling indicates that the cat wants you to come in and play with it. Since a lot of the time that our cats see us is spent in the bathroom (getting ready for work) they want to try to create that situation as much as possible. My own cats play and sleep in there (including opening the cabinets and letting them slam repeatedly). So don't be concerned, your cat is just trying to be closer to you!

I have a neutered male cat who LOVES to sit next to the tub when I'm taking a shower or a bath. I think it might be the noise that attracts them.

My male tuxedo does something similiar it seems to be attracted to running water. Everytime I go to take my meds it's on the counter like a flash. Glad it's not just me.

Sounds like it is kind of funny to watch. Doesn't sound like anything is wrong with her or anything to be alarmed at, though. Sometimes all animals have some pretty weird, strange thoughts in their teeny tiny brains!
