That there's only one god. HAHAHA and so on... Actually, I'm really surprised that people still lie to themselves into thinking there's a nonexistent being.

Wow, good question. I think believing that your way is the only way to spiritual fulfillment is the silliest concept.

Absolutism: only one religion is correct and everything else is wrong.
This is exceptionally despicable when it is put in the context of superiority: only MY religion is correct and everyONE else is wrong.
In my opinion, no one has ALL the answers, and no one has NONE of the answers. Everyone has a little truth, and a little misconception. Every religion is just as valid as all the others. Perhaps some religions are closer to "the truth" than others, but who would ever know?

I heard where there was a religion where this sleeping God held the entire universe in his dream. The priest walked and chanted quietly so as to sooth his sleep and try not to disturb his dreams because if he awoke the entire universe "Poof" would be gone. God forbid he should cough or roll over in his sleep. volcanoes would erupt and mountains would tumble. xx

Religion itself. I mean how can you believe in something with no proof. They do this with nothing else in their lives, except religion. I just cannot understand why normal logic flies out the window when it comes to that.

An invisible man in the sky that will answer EVERY prayer as long as you BELIEVE it was answered, and if it wasn't then your prayer isn't part of God's Plan and it's fine anyway.

Prayer. you can only pray for things you already know "god" will do (i.e. i pray that the sun will rise tomorrow, it worked this morning, and i'd hate for it to stop happening!), or else you run into problems of him saying "no" a lot. statistically, prayer changes nothing about any given situation. ever.

That the creator of all that exists took half a day to make all the billions of planets, stars, quaasars, black holes, comets, asteroids, moons - and a full day to make man. (It must be harder to get the skin on that I thought)
