Out of the many times I use Microsoft Word, sometimes the spell check just suddenly doesn't work, no grammar check and everything. It just ups and leaves.
Is it just my computer or a glitch that needs fixing?

Also I have Windows 2000 with a computer with a glitchy RAM so I don't know if it helps...

It does that with some documents. Just check to make sure the spell check is on. Go to Tools>options>Spell check and grammer. make sure the appropriate boxes are checked.

Thats a great question, mine does that too and I have MS Office 2003 with Windows XP Professional. That is so annoying.

attempt this: a million. click the around place of work button in the top-left corner of the window. 2. click the notice ideas button. 3. click Proofing. 4. verify there's a verify in the verify Spelling As I form checkbox. 5. click ok. wish that helps.
