Usually if you have one positive TB test, it really only means that you were exposed to TB somewhere; not that you have it. You will probably be asked to have a chest xray and another TB (double) skin test in a couple of weeks. Some facilities give the double test and have new requirements. I cant' think of any side effects you would have except a little skin irritation. Godloveya.

No side effects if you have more than one TB skin test. If positive the first time, it means you were once exposed to TB. It may also mean you have TB. However, the best diagnostic test would be sputum test which is specific. in the event that it is negative, a chest x-ray will be prefered.

No side effect. It will be positive again with the same induration.
