The spirit returns to God like the spirit of Christ did when He died.
The flesh and the soul die at the same time.
The soul is nothing more than our sensation.
Dead people have no sensation or memory.

Because human beings are flawed sinners and we are incapable of doing a single act that is completely without sin. Therefore, when we read the Bible we put our own sinful wishes and thoughts into, like that fool who is asking questions about shrimp and homosexuals.

You see, we are fallen and flawed creatures who are inherently sinful and we desperately want the Bible to not be true, so people read it in the hopes of proving their own theory correct and they find some verse and twist its meaning to fit their own agenda.

It is only when we come to the Bible with an open heart and open mind, it is only when we check our interpretations with other faithful Christians that we can garner the true meaning of the scripture.

Why? Because we are imperfect, whereas the Bible is the product of a perfect individual. So, although it was written for mankind, it is not always easy to understand--especially some of the older versions with their now-outdated language. Also, people sometimes have preconceived ideas--prejudices--they they want confirmed. So they'll use scriptures that fit such ideas and ignore others that disprove them.--2 Timothy 4: 3. 4.
A sincere Bible student will take the necessary time to go into it--the whole book--with an open mind; not credulous, not doubting like people who are just looking for an excuse not to believe.

The spirit of Christ didn't return to Heaven, he was resurrected into a spirit body, completely different. The spirit of life we share with all form of life, none being greater than the other. Christ could do nothing until he was resurrected. Otherwise, you're doing well.

Here is what God's Word says...

2Timothy 4:3 - 4 (KJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Because the Bible does not contain any worthwhile information.

because the bible is mythical nonsense

it is an unprovable cult book, full of errors, inconsistencies and self-contradictions..

using the bible to prove itself (using anything exclusively to prove its own authenticity) is complete and utter nonsense and illogic.

getting an education would be a wonderful thing, wouldn't it?

Are there “Christian” Churches, by self-proclaimed authority, that are of human origin? Yes, see encyclopedia for answer of the specific denomination. Gal 1:11-12 Christ’s church is not of human origin but has Divine Authority. Paul said, “The gospel which was preached by me [an apostle] is not according to man. For neither did I receive it of man: but did I learn it by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”They are followers of Charles Taze Russell, not Jehovah or Jesus Christ.

The issues JW's are really screwed up on is this:

1. Sola Scriptora (by scripture alone). They consider the Bible as the source of authority. No where in the Bible does it say we are to follow scripture alone. In fact, scripture tells us we are to follow the apostles and their ordained ministers through apostolic succession. They quote scripture all day long but even Satan used scripture to tempt Jesus. Jesus could see the error of the temptation but JW's cannot.

2. Divine authority was given to the apostles by Jesus Christ. Yet, they will not recognize the scriptural references that tells every Christian that.

3. The Holy Trinity stumps them. They cannot comprehend nor have enough faith to believe in the Holy Trinity. The apostle Thomas said, "My Lord and my God!" Yet, they will reject the divinity of Christ.

They will tell you to test a person's interpretation of scripture.
DEMONSTRATING EXISTENCE OF THE HOLY TRINITY:

The HOLY TRINITY is defined as:
A term used since A.D. 200 to denote the central doctrine of the Christian religion. God, who is one and unique in his infinite substance or nature, is three really distinct persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one and only God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Yet God the Father is not God the Son, but generates the Son eternally, as the Son is eternally begotten. The Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son, but a distinct person having his divine nature from the Father and Son by eternal procession. The three divine persons are co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial and deserve co-equal glory and adoration.

We need to know how we are created in God's image to grasp the concept of the Holy Trinity and I think your question is a good one.

To understand this better, chart it out or use a diagram of two triangles of equal proportions like the Star of David. This allows an easier understanding of the relationship between the Essence and Existence of a thing. The following words should be distinguished in the following categories: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. These three words encompass everything in the Universe and make up the CREATIVE PROCESS to help describe the Creator, creatures, and creation.

God is spirit. He cannot be seen. If you were to examine all the creatures, the CREATOR has made a pattern emerges: angels and demons are intellectual creatures without a body; plants and animals do not have an intellect but a body and mortal soul. IT IS ONLY LIVING, HUMAN, BEINGS, that have a MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Only human beings have all three. Now, living, human, being is the existence of man. Those words describe the essence of man's mind, body, and soul. The Body is living, the Mind makes us human and distinguishing us from animals, and our Soul makes us the being that we become (good or evil).

Now, even Muslims will agree Allah is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (ever present). These words describe the existence of God. So, what is the essence of God? I will hold off answering this question till the end.

Now, if you think about the existence of a person they have a triple existence: physical (body), mental (mind), and spiritual (eternal soul). In fact, whenever we create something it has all three of these parts. When we cook we have a recipe (in our mind), we gather all the raw ingredients, and we cook (don't burn it, ha ha) what it is we are making. Cooking has the physical, mental, and spiritual parts. Same with engineering or technology it has three parts: the blueprints (to convey an idea), the raw materials (physical), and the workmanship (spiritual). If something goes wrong investigators will look for a design flaw, material flaw, or faulty workmanship. THIS DEMONSTRATES CREATION HAS THREE PARTS LIKE THE CREATOR.

Now, in the Bible it says Jesus is the visible likeness of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) The ESSENCE OF GOD IS: Father (mental), Son (physical), Holy Ghost (spiritual). ONE TRUE GOD IN THREE JUST LIKE A PERSON. THREE PARTS ONE PERSON. When you are sick you send for a doctor; when you are mentally troubled, a psychiatrist; when spiritually seeking you seek out a holy person.

4. The commandment not to make any graven image actually is not to worship any graven images. How do we know? After God gave Moses the Ten Commandments He ordered Moses to make the Ark of the Covenant. In doing so, God ordered Moses to "make winged creatures" (angels) out of gold as the lid to the Ark. Also, God ordered Moses to make a "bronze serpent" (the present day medical symbol) and to have the people who were bitten by snakes to look at it so they would be healed. This demonstrates that God did not mean to not have any graven image but, not to worship any graven image (idolatry).

5. They do not believe in the Blessed Sacrament (consecrated bread and wine actually being the body and blood of Jesus. Catholics, Ukranian, Greek, Russian, Eastern Orthodox and Church of Christ denominations all believe Jesus Christ's body and blood are present in the form of bread and wine. These are the largest of the Christian denomination compared to JW's (which is another scriptural point to bring up).

Now, you may not believe this part of the Christian faith as many don't. But the scriptural references is overwhelming. Jesus said, "My flesh is real food, my blood is real drink." (John 6:55) We know Jesus was literal and not just figurative in this passage because he lost many disciples over this teaching and let them walk away. Consider the following scripture:

The five Eucharistic Mysteries:
The Wedding Feast at Cana: Jesus changes water into wine in jars used for a Jewish ritual for purification.
The Feeding of the Multitude: multiplying (physical) food
The Teaching on the Bread of Life: The BREAD OF LIFE
The Passover of our Lord: "THIS IS MY BODY...BLOOD"
The Road to Emmaus: This story reveals that scripture is opened up to us when we are joined to Christ in the breaking of the bread.

Also, consider that the MANGER is a feeding trough for animals and the name BETHLEHAM means "house of bread". John the Baptist called Jesus "the LAMB OF GOD" In the Jewish passover the lamb had to be eaten to be saved. There are many other examples.

The Christian emulates, "to have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see." (Hebrews 11:1) There is a lot of truth to the saying, “You are what you eat.” When Jesus taught us how to pray He said, “give us this day our supersubstantial bread.” (Mt 6:11 Douay-Rheims Bible) God is Spirit and His Word (Jesus Christ) became flesh. The whole Bible conveys salvation through sacrifice to reflect the ultimate and eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ:
Abel offered a lamb to God and later John the Baptist said, “This is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world.”
Abraham was going to faithfully offer his only son when an angel of God stopped him, he sacrificed a sheep God provided.
At Passover Moses had lambs sacrificed that had to be eaten with unleavened bread.
Then the Israelites ate Manna in the desert that they did not recognize and Moses told them “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.”
Christianity entails having a supernatural faith fed by “supersubstantial bread” (Mt 6:11 Douay-Rheims Bible) and not a mere human conviction
