Ok, out of the goodness of my heart I will explain once again.
The Prophet's first wife was 40, when he was 25... Her name was Khadija. This was his only young wife, but he was MARRIED to her. My Grandmother married my Grandfather when she was 13..
Aisha, was the daughter of Abu Bakr (The first Caliph, the leader who help Islam spread all the way to Europe). He gave his daughter in marriage to the Prophet. It was a honour for him to do. They would not have intercourse until she had hit puberty. Think all you want, but know that the Day of Judgment is real, and you will be questioned about your deeds.

Replying to Zajil's post, no she is not the mother of all Muslims so i would sincerly appreciate you getting your facts right before you start making up false accusations. If anything this minor made the Prophet's life unbearable. During the time of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) marrying a 6 year old was perfectly normal. If it were to be done in this modern day society then it would be very wrong as a 6 year old is still considered to be a minor and doesnt know right from wrong whereas during the time of the prophet 6 year olds were considered to be mature adults and were ready to get married.

I'll answer your question as follow:
1) This girl you are talking about is the mother of all Muslims and the only virgin wife of prophet MOHAMMAD PB UH. and the others were widows, or divorced and all were old.
So, do you believe a person in his position in the community to accept that ?? and if he as you mentioned why he would do it at his late 40's and he was perfect at his youth and the active years??? and do you think that the Pagans at that time would hide something if they knew it about him???
In stead at early Prophecy they ask to chosse any lady and they will give her to him and ask about any wealth he wants and they will submitted to him or if he want to be their leader and President so, he can be given that !
So, is it logical to refusse all that live poor and traced to be killed by the whole communities and tribes???
So, going back to Our Mother Aisha
2) She was engaged to somebody else other than the prophet PB UH prior to the spread of Islam, and the non-Muslim guy who was engaged to her didn't want to marry her because she is Muslim.
3) It was well known and acceptable to the people at that time of such marriage.
4) No body of the NON -Muslim population has condemned this action or otherwise it will be a Major defect in the prophet's history and they would attack him in poems which was the CNN / Aljazeera media at that time!!!!
5) I have been told by a friend that such an action was to a recent time present in India and Europe

I'm not sure that he was one if he was living in our time being that would defiantly make him one but that happen almost 1400 years ago so i think having sex with a nine year old was not that much weird plus he married nine wive that makes him a horn-dog in my book no offense to all Muslims im just sharing my point of view please share yours too

People tend to forget and forgive the sins of their leaders (I never had sex with that woman in the White House!)!
Whether she was 6 or 9 or 12 and whether "everybody else was doing it" doesn't matter. It was WRONG!
