I am taking 12 hours of online classes at my school (all history-finishing out my minor), and I'd like to go to a nearby community college to get some other classes out of the way-it's much cheaper. If I do this I can graduate spring 08. This would have me at 21 hours of school.

I let my parents use my car and I'm pretty sure I can tell my mom to pay my tuition and buy all of my books. It's a great car and it'd last me for a few more years-but she actually needs it so why not get paid for it? For the past year I have used my boyfriends car for transportation (we live together). I don't have to pay insurance or for gas.

What would you do?

If something were to happen w/me and my boyfriend, I wouldn't mind using the bus line til I found another car. *worst case scenario*

I'm already taking out the max amount of loans for the year at my school. That $ pays my bills while I'm in school.

Really think about whether you can handle taking 21 credits. Depending on how hard the classes are, it really could end up not being worth it. If you are sure you'll have time to spend on all of those classes, sell the car. When you graduate you can make a lot more money (in theory) and buy yourself a nicer car.

get finiancial aid from that community college you want to go to or get grants that will automatically pay your tuiton and books. Either way you go, you won't have to sell your car or have to ask your mom for money.

Yep, lose the car. Cars come and go, education doesn't.
