Me, prefer the present with God;cuase a world without God is a world without

Love
Joy
Peace
Kindness
Gentleness
Meekness
Long-Suffering

It just would be an awful time and place to live if we did not have Jesus Christ.

And what about everybody else?

Where is your proof for such a statement? Studies have shown that atheists are on a whole happier, less likely to be criminalsm and better educated than their religious counterparts. I, as an atheist, can be kind, happy, and gentle. And love certainly has nothing to do with believing in a fictitious figure. This kind of question issustrates the false believe that many of religious background have that atheism = immorality, that an atheist SURELY doesn't know how to act because he has no threat of punishment and no hope of reward. That because he isn't being told what to do, he cannot possibly know. That is just false, and is telling of the kind of morality that christianty gives. Morality that is based on clear reason and social contract seems more satisftying that one based on fear of punishment and arbitrary rules that hurt people.

Yes.... Because at this point, the world is a perfect example of love, joy, peace, kindness, etc.
Especially with all the wars and crime.
Good argument.

God is present today. Present but not involved.

A world without god would be perfect.

No violence in the name of god
no shoving beliefs down everyone's throat because they have to
no door-to-door "have you found jesus" people

I would rather keep to myself because I'm actually a tangible human being, I'm not invisible.

what's so great about long suffering? the rest we can have without God too--we don't need to be bullied into it by some omnipresent conquering despot drunk with power

MERRY CHRISTmas .... God gave us a wonderful gift His SON ... The one whose Birthday we Celebrate. . . Without God our lives would be a mess, no Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness or anything. Thank God we are free . . thanks to our soldiers.... and Thank God we can be a soldier for him ...because he set us free.

Indeed, that is what you have been brainwashed to believe. I get enough of all of the above without God.
