She can make a card or something like that or she can have(in the case of having 2 parents that she knows both) she can have the other parent take her to buy the gift. It won't be using HER money technically but my parents have been divorced since i was 6 n i'm 17 now and I always had a present for each parent. My mom took me to buy my dad's n vice versa.

Make a nice card parents don't expect any thing from there kids especially from 11 year old with no job. if you have a few dollars then go down the the dollar store and buy a little basket and fill it with nuts and rap it up with some bows and I'm sure they will love anything you give them.

She can ask the mom to help the her buy dad his present , but without letting him know. She can also go to the dad and ask him to help by a gift for the mom without letting the mom know. Or she can also ask a close relative to help buying a gift for the parents. There are different ways. You can also be creative by buying mugs and add candy to it. You can buy all at a dollar store. There are different ways to giving parents gifts.

She can buy anything she has enough money for. But I think she should make her presents. I'm 12 and I always make presents for people.

why don't you try doing a project for your mom or dad, something they may have been meaning to get around to but dont have time. For example, cleaning out a junk drawer or organizing pictures into those albums. You could print up a nice tag that says what the task is and put it in their stocking.
Free, and it will give your parents some extra time and one less thing to worry about

anything especially if you make if is a great gift your parents will appreciate .....Happy Holidays!!!!....oooh I just remembered this really cool site where you can upload your Pic/ family pic whatever and make really cute gifts like you could make dad a coffee mug and mom a tile box they will love it forever it does cost a bit probably about 30 to 40 bucks for both plus shipping but if you can get the money its worth it even though the present won't be in time for christmas they will cherish it ok so go to

Why not make them a coupon book for things you will do for them for the following year? You've got to committ to doing them, so don't put down silly things. Be realistic. Some suggestions are: wash and clean out their car, walk the pets, clean the garage, do the dishes, ironing, dusting. Keep on them to use them, have fun with it. I loved the one my kids made for me...it was the best gift ever.

make these coupons out of paper. have them say stuff like:
1. clean room
2. mow lawn
3. back massage
4. wash dishes
etc etc.
put all of them in a box. whenever they want you to do one of the things, they just pull it out and you gotta do it. it's a cool gift that doesn't cost anything to make.
