Screens are more expensive the bigger. 50 inch screens or smaller are generally the best deal in my opinion. But, if you want to buy any size TV you should try Costco because they have a big selection of all the name brands and all the knock-off brands. Also, there way less than everywhere else. Another good thing about Costco is that they take back everything no matter how long it has been, all you need is the box and the components it came with. I bought a plasma TV 3 years ago and it just blew out so I put it back in the box and took it back- no problems. Costco is the place I go for all my electronics because you can always take them back if they break. However, they wont take back computers after 30 days but they take back everything else. If there isn't a Costco near you or the store doesn't have the thing you want try http://www.costco.com/Home.aspx they still have the same return policy they do in stores.

Hope you find what your looking for

Once you go beyond 50" plasmas, the price jumps significantly. If you are stuck on plasma, I would go for a 50", which can be found around $1500. I prefer to stick to the big brands, such as Zenith or LG. If you don't care about brand or quality, then you can go to off-brands and find it under $1500.

If you want to get a larger screen than 50' for cheap, then rear or front projection is the way to go. You can get like a 60" rear projection under $2000. For a projector, you can get a 10 foot image for around $1000.

Unfortunately the price only goes up as the screen gets larger. BUT, you should definitely NOT buy a plasma screen TV. I don't know why you would want to, but they are very unreliable. Yours will most likely break down within 2 years.
