just ask her out. you are probably a terrific guy and if she isnt taken will definitely say yes. the other stuff doesnt really matter, but its an advantage to be close friends with her first. still, girls like it when guys are foward and dont "beat around the bush" . you've got nothing to lose, just talk to her
