How so select com port in Psion software?

Question

I use a psion palm top organiser, and the PC sync software won't allow any com port above com 8. As the lower com ports are already in use as virtual usb ports I need to select com 11. Does anybody know of a patch or workaround.
XP+sp2, Psiwin 2.3.3
