I am 13 and all my friends are so interested in boys, and I really don't care. I like them fro friends. I just don't see the big deal about boys as more then friends. My mom says I need to start wanting a boyfriend, I don't want one. Are there others like me or am I just weird?

perfectly normal for many young girls....in fact the longer you think that way you will be able to concentrate on your studies....forget about us guys for awhile...study and get yourself a good career.....then you can have your pick after that.

Its not that weird. But there has to be at least one guy you like more than a friend. If there isn't than you need to give it a few mounths. If still in a few mounths you still dont like anyone then you need to get some help! i dont meen to be mean but if no feelings come in about a year than something is wrong with you. But it's not weird yet cause iv known some girls that havent started likeing guys yet. Just give it some time and it will probably come.
P.S. if it dont come then get yourself checked out! (and fast)

Its nice to hear a 13 year old not rushing into anything with a boy most parents (including me) would like to have a daughter like you to not have to worry and you can enjoy yourself without care.

You seem to be smarter than your mom on this one! Seriously, there is PLLLLEEEENNTY of time for boys when you're older. At this age they only want one thing. You are out of the norm as most girls are wanting boys, so good for you! :) You're a smart one. :)

maybe u see the boys your age as too immature so you're not too fond of them now. if you see boys as just friends now, maybe you're a bit of a tomboy? but that's okay, u'll most likely change in a little bit when u find a boy that gives u butterflies in your stomach

Don't rush to growup. It upsetting to see your parent is rushing you to growup. You don't need to worry about liking boys until much later in life like in your 20s. Enjoy being young. You won't be that young for very long.

your not wierd at all. people develop mentally and want relationships at different times in their lives. for now, if its all you want, just be friends with guys.in a a year or so you may want to start dating, but for now, your still young and theres not need to want a boyfriend.

you are very normal.... believe me, you have a life time for boyfriends but seriously how long can you just be happy as a kid
i know i sound like some kind of idiot spitting out life lessons but its true.. guys will come to you and youll come to them eventually to.. be yourself you wont be happy forcing yourself to do things you normally wouldnt
