An atheist will only accept something that is understandable to his own mind. It is impossible for the limited human mind to fully grasp and understand the infinite and eternal nature of God. The atheist requires something that is measurable before they will accept it as proof, but God is not measurable.

An atheist won't accept miracles as proof of God because they will always say that it was luck or coincidence.

God does not have to do anything to prove Himself to us; it is us who need to work hard to prove ourselves worthy of His blessings and mercy.

When something good happens to him constantly, when he knows that it could be coincidence yet at the same time is beyond his fellow humans power. The fact of the matter is that man is imperfect and wishes to become not only the master of his destiny, but also the outcomes of any endeavor he takes part on. According Jean Paul Sartre, since God does not exist to the atheist, man has absolute freedom yet absolute responsibility. So that means when things go bad, it is THE persons fault, no one else. And also, since man cannot become God there will be, for Sartre, no such moment of completion because "man is a useless passion, for man is not complete."
So in short, it is best to believe than to deny God, since God proves his existence almost every time, especially when things are chaotic and thus become stable in a mere second.

I think the limited human mind can easily understand the infinite and eternal nature of the Nature (aka the "material").
Only to the limited mind of religious people its seems strange and unacceptable. The same limited religious mind looks for an external power (aka god) to look for explanations and for guidance as they don't believe in themselves and their own power and capabilities.
God is a human invention, used as a cane for "handicapped" people, while the limited minded atheists search for questions, search for answers and believe controlling their life and fate.

OK,think about this.the full chain of life had to come all at once.if it did`nt many things could not exist.so many plants and animals have a unique balance, remove one the other will die.but the bible backs evaluation.in the book of Genesis, out of the sea came forth creatures that walked on dry land.science makes the same claim.a day in heaven is 1000 earth years.

God said in His word that we walk by faith; not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. God has already given witness of Himself to us with all that He has created. You see His existence with all that you see around you.2 Corinthians 4:18 says "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal". 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 says this: But if our gospel be hind, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

You cannot prove his/her existence, man has always created their gods rather than their gods creating them. I like the quote from "God" on an episode of Futurama "When you've done something right, people won't know if you've done anything at all." If you don't believe (a) god(s) exists you don't spend your time praying for a miracle to happen and you do it yourself. On the otherhand you might want to consider Pascal's Wager. That's a whole other can of worms though worthy of discussion.

God, Jesus Christ, Buddha, The Great Spirit, Zeus, Jupiter, these are all religious deities and in each case Faith is not only necessary, it is an essential ingredient in the belief. One can never prove something that is based on faith.

Some people are easily led. Some of us will not follow a trail that is not visible. Who amongst us has seen GOD??? Not one soul that I know. People who hear or see GOD are , in my estimation, delusional..Not trying to be cruel. It's like when I was a child and was told that HEAVEN was in the clouds...We have been to MARS and back without any sightings..Splain that !!!

He can prove his existence by answering prayers that are asked for, like the Bible says he will (ask and ye shall receive). I have asked for the starvation in Africa to stop, simple request, not to my own personal benefit. They are still starving, so he either refused, which means the Bible is a lie, or he doesn't exist. The rest of your question is mumbo jumbo.

It's a shame he's not powerful enough to show himself in any measurable way. Think of all the wars he could have prevented by simply appearing and guiding mankind...
