As for my clothes, I know the dryer is known to kill the eggs and any left over living ones. But I am still scared to bring them to my boyfriend's pad. With modern washing machines and washing powders, it is possible to get a satisfactory wash on low temperature. However, this does not kill the eggs of these and other bugs. I should abandon any clothing that you cannot put on high temperature and once the others are washed and dried seal them in plastic bags to stop reinfestation. You do not mention any pets, especially cats. If you have, start treatment immediately and continue ten to twelve days later. Oddly enough, I have not seen a flea for maybe 30 years..................

How about taking your clothes right out of the dryer and putting them into a trash bag and sealing it until you take a nice shower scrubbing real good. Get your clothes on, and get out real fast. Don't bring anything with you that isn't dried in the dryer and sealed in a plastic trash bag.
