I heard it and was proud as H-E- double-toothpicks !! Good troops happy to see someone come over and SUPPORT them.
They were most CERTAINLY not "forced" to give such good reports... THAT sort of information would have hit the liberal press like a HUGE "Winter Holiday" present (since the liberal PRESS refuses to aknowledge Christmas). I WILL admit I'm NOT a fan of the "Factor"... but I watch on occasion to balance the view of "The Daily Show" and "CBS News".
The troops are motivated as we always are... sure there are those who love to gripe as there always will be.
I served for 15 yrs (too old for this war)... but sure gave the Navy Times a snoot-full regarding President Clinton, and also about the network media's response to "TailHook"...
Those damned TV news idiots ALWAYS showed background footage of Navy ENLISTED during their coverage of "Tailhook"... even though there was not a SINGLE enlisted aircrewman present at the incident !! (we had all split for a nice strip-club down the street).
I have a half dozen Marine Reservists and old shipmates I know who are over there... ALL are motivated and just want the clearance and toys to snuff every Syrian and Iranian sneaking into the country and supplying the weapons.

I don't watch O'Reilly often, and missed that, but all the Iraq veterans I talk to seem to be less than thrilled with the way things have been managed (and troops always gripe that way, so I'm not sure how much importance there is to that), and they're overwhelmingly in favor of the mission.

Hey guys, the program wasn't about O'reilly at all. He was just allowing us to voice what we truly feel is presently happening. Its our oppinions, since were the ones fighting it, instead of what the reporters think they know, or by people who have never set foot in the box, but think they somehow know more. Its about time that someone allowed a bit of equal time, and it should happen more..

Every soldier knows it's in there best future promotional interest to play ball or they may find themselves with more hassles than anyone could ever need.

Being in the military there are restrictions on what you can say and can't say to the media. That's not to mention the media can edit things anyway. So, it is possible that they were.

How many body guards did O'Reilly have? LOL One good sniper with a Barret .50 cal would take care of one of the medias biggest hacks.
No, they weren't forced to give such good reports, they edited out the bad ones.
I thought O'Reilly called his show the " NO SPN ZONE "
