Will they need to replace it, or just put it back in?

This has become an emergency,..nearest hospital,..or emergency dentist,..for temporary care until you go to your dentist.

Relax, my son just had his braces removed and I worked with him and braces for 3 years. First of all, if it is uncomfortable... have someone help you to remove some of the wire. There is no way the dentist is available on Christmas Eve or Day...and you don't need to pay a fortune for an emergency visit. If it is causing you pain, do your best to remove the wire and cover any exposed areas with the wax that your ortho provided for you. Call the ortho on Tuesday and let them know that you had an issue come up and you need to come in sooner. They will set you up with an appointment and replace the wire.

Call the orthodontist and make an emergency appointment. They are understanding when it comes to these things. If you don't get it fixed soon it might bother your mouth.

just call your dentist and they can fix it. it takes about 5 minutes. but seeing as it is a holiday, i am not to sure. can you pull the wire out yourself or use wax so you dont get poked? call on tues when they open back up. good luck and hope you get to enjoy your christmas dinner!

call the orthodontist right away. tell them it fell out. if you don't, your teeth will be more crooked and you might have to have a longer treatment.
