I don't know where he died. I just know that he did. My daughter is his only living child. I just want to know how he died.

Hey Annaandbr...,

He is not listed in Family Search. If you know where he died, you can get a death certificate, and an Obituary for him. Here are some sites to help you, as you probably have more information that would be needed.

If you know where he died the OBIT is your answer.

Above listing in the SSDI (Soc Sec death index) has his last address listed 61081 (Sterling, Whiteside, Illinois) ,
You can go to that website or access free thru rootsweb.com
Once there you can send for certificate that will prob state some of the info you want or enough to send for death certificate.
- You may already have enough info now to check local paper obits in that city as well.

If you know what state he was living in when he died you should be able to get a death certificate from that state's vital records department. You could try a few different states if you don't know for sure where he was living.
