You and Rush tickle me, we knew that Nam like Iraqi had nothing to do with world peace, when Robert McNamara announced in his book last year (or may-be the year before) that President Johnson and he knew the war could not be won and the Rush's and Hannity’s of the time were told but no one told the public in fact they all continued to preach that for the good of the country we should go fight. Which like a fool I did! When I was wounded the first time I could not wait to get back to the guys who lives I held in my hands and vice versa, it had nothing to do with the war but my comrades. When a few weeks later I was blown up, I was recuperating when I snook out and again raced to my boys sides. By now it was plain we had been and were being lied to, just like today. Three CIA analysts have all made public disclosure that the data given the President and Vice President showed there were NO WMD's; no poison gas; no nuclear material. When the White House started showing doctored material and telling Congress lies the three tried to intervene with the truth and were threaten with arrest. Six months ago, when they did go forward they were fired, retirements canceled and the evidence and personal items seized. They still had copies they had snook out in case they needed proof. The White House has given them 48 hours to produce the evidence or go to jail. At this time, they all are all in jail. So Bush knew but lied to ensure we entered the fight, there are or were no terrorist we have made many now; it would appear it was all for big business. A soldier does what his country ask whether it is for the Confederacy, the Rising Sun, or Halliburton, they are always a hero be it Taliban, Swiss or the British. There are times when the solider rushes back because of bravery, patriotism and loyalty it just so happens this war is not one of them.

Yesssur, I have. The majority of the troops there are saying that America needs to send more troops over there, not bring them home. I wouldnt go as far to say that the men/women that have done tours in Iraq "cant wait to go back", but I doubt theyll regret going back.

You people are missing the point. If you have never served in the military, you truly wouldn't understand. These wounded soldiers want to be there for their unit and their friends they have there. They don't want their buddies to be in this alone, and it kills them to be away from their new family, the guys they serve with. I had just got back from iraq a couple of months ago and understand exactly how they feel. I don't want to be there, i hate iraq, but i would never want to leave my squad alone without me. I hate politics and the basis of this war, but its bigger than that for me. I am honored to serve with my squad and my unit, i fight for them, and leave the bickering to you all. Do you think you would want to go back and continue your duty if your brother/sister, father or mother, best buddy, anyone and everyone, were still there? That's what the armed forces is when it comes to hardships, a family. You would want to be there to help defend and protect THEM, as well as the drive to serve.

YES!! Most of the troops that you ask.. they will be the first to tell you that it isnt all what you see on the tv. There is so much good that is going on there but it is never reported!! People only get to see the bad and none of the good..
