be nice, kill em with kindness. grin and bare it. be thankful they not staying. when they are ready to leave, tell them how you feel and why. i did that and it gave em some thing to think about on way home and for a year. half of them doing their best to make things right again. my grandmother and mother always told me that i don't have to like all my family, but i have to love them any how. if they have any heart the speech you give them on way out will make them think it over. good luck and merry Christmas, and happy new year.

Try to create situations where everyone has their own space and privacy--If you are forced to be around everyone--due to lack of space, etc..or because you have to be together--try to be the one who goes out for errands or stay busy in the kitchen, etc...TV-while it is not the best activity--can be a life saveer here--zoning out in front of the TV really helps some families--keeps them from arguing, etc...
Mainly, I would try to keep focused on the fact that you are just around them for 4 days--so don't start something within those 4 days that will make you keep thinking about or dealing with them after they are gone--Just deal with the 4 days and be done with it!

Why must you dislike your own family? Your family is your nearest next of kin. You should have some sympathy on them and get close to them. They need you to protect them. To love them. To care for them. and to render assistance where ever you could. If you hate them, where else could they seek help. Do you want them to become beggar, begging money from people to fill their stomach.Don't you have the feel how desperate they are.? Think about it.

well, you should avoid any arguements. and when disagreeing on something, dont yell or anything, just stay calm and remind them it's your house and you will do as you please.
