How to use UMAX PC Recovery CD?

Need two drivers reinstalled which may be on my UMAX Recovery CD, but CD has no instructions on it for how to use it or load it. When I put it in slot nothing happens, also RUN D: does not work from menu.

CD driver is working for CD music and all other software installations.

My laptop has Windows 98 ver 4.10.1998, need to reinstall drivers so it will work on DSL through USB or LAN connection. Currently limited to dial-up.
