Now another thing is that well you are probably aware that i no longer have the old fuel tank. i replaced it with a plastic fuel cell.and an external fuel pump. but now the main concern is that well i put the evap canister back but there where alot of hoses that went to the old fuel tank and that now are just loose. because the fuel cell doesnt have all those hoses the old one did. i got to put some of them back but not all of them. im pretty sure its gonna affect my computer right. now the question is is there a way to reprogram that? Also i bet you thinkin what the heck is this guy doing to his truck?...well im doing it because im am getting airbag suspension on it and my old tank was too big and i couldnt raise it up any higher. but any ways i would appreciate a response. Its just that i have a long trip from california to washington and i want my truck to be somewat ready. thanks.

I kinda thought you slammed it that is why I brought up the engine light codes you will get. On Board Vapor recovery has been disconnected. Charcoal canister is just hanging out. Evap system checkes the tank at 6 or 7 minutes on smooth ground after warm up. fuel tank pressure system detects a couple inches of vacuum for two minutes and says to the computer everything is ok. So how to trick the evap system into thinking the tank is still there?
